The Old Sorcerer’s Brew

The old sorcerer brews his wicked brew,  
A heavy stench, a soul’s mournful cry.  
To him it’s joy — nothing else he knew —  
He laughs like a hangman beneath the sky.

The old sorcerer brews his cursed brew,  
The moon’s round loaf tumbles out of view.  
Tonight, a ghastly revel will start —  
A son raises an axe against his heart,  
To silence him forever at the door,  
In black earth where no paths exist anymore…

The old sorcerer shakes with laughter wild,  
His eyes burn bright like embers in the night.  
Tonight, a dark and dreadful mirth runs wild —  
His laughter tears the air with piercing might.  
The stars are ripped from the vault above,  
They fall and shatter — no return, no love!

The walls convulse, skulls creak and groan,  
Shadows weave a net of flickering bone.  
The sorcerer whispers worms of words,  
That gnaw and corrode where the spirit stirs.  
In the mirror — faces, shattered and pale,  
Screams and curses, lost souls in travail…

The wind howls — it’s calling us down,  
Into the abyss, to the dead and the drowned.  
Each breath is a dying, rasping moan,  
Each step is a dream where the lost walk alone…
